Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years cloud engineering experience in IL5/IL6 environments preferred.
• Active Secret clearance is mandatory.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Cloud One, IaC, Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM.
• Certs: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, Security+ preferred.

Overview Bluewater Federal is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and sustain cloud-hosted environments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions and automation.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Monitor cloud performance, security, and resource utilization.
• Manage cloud networking, container, and platform services.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and operational issues.
