Job summary

Invictus International Consulting, LLC. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support Federal missions from Ft Meade, MD. The role focuses on designing, implementing and securing cloud solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP, aligning with FISMA and FedRAMP requirements.

You will collaborate with the security operations team and other federal partners to ensure compliant cloud services. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of cloud experience, strong communication skills, and relevant cloud certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or administration.
• Knowledge in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong understanding of federal government security requirements (FISMA, FedRAMP).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.

Responsibilities

• Assess the existing cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements to align with federal government standards and best practices.
• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with the security operations team to ensure compliance with federal standards.
• Conduct regular cloud infrastructure audits to identify and address security risks.
• Optimize cloud service utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud services.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to personnel as needed.
• Coordinate with other federal agencies, vendors, and partners for seamless cloud integration.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or administration
• Knowledge in a variety of cloud platforms and technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and FedRAMP
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
