Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is looking for a Cloud Engineer to manage and enhance cloud environments, ensuring efficiency and rapid problem resolution. Qualifications

• Experience serving as a technical liaison between engineering and enterprise deployment teams.
• Experience supporting systems requiring formal accreditation and continuous monitoring of DoD Systems.
• Experience supporting IL-5/6 environments.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments.
• Ensure continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution.
• Develop or contribute to solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Skills

Experience with management of DoD cloud environments, including AWS

Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments

Experience deploying applications into IL-4 or higher secure environments

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation

Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes, including RMF and ATO workflows

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Education

Bachelor's degree in IT or cyber-related field

Tools

Container technologies, including AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes

Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Certification

DoW 8140 Certification

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

Salary range: $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, experience, and contractual requirements.

Work Model

• Remote – may require occasional on-site work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid – expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently; may also work from or visit a customer facility.
• Onsite – work primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating with colleagues and customers.
