Job summary

Innovative Solutions provides managed services and cloud architecture design for diverse client environments. We are seeking an AWS-focused engineer to analyze, design, and optimize cloud solutions across hybrid on‑premises environments.

You will implement AWS network infrastructure, automate tasks, and ensure security best practices while collaborating with customers and AWS TAMs to deliver scalable workloads and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or IT, or 3+ years AWS Cloud experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Strong problem-solving across a diverse tech stack.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, implement, and support AWS cloud solutions and hybrid on-premises environments.
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS network infrastructure using VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Route 53.
• Architect and deploy AWS infrastructure for EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and EFS.
• Ensure security best practices using IAM, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
• Implement and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with AWS TAMs and customers on cloud strategy and cost optimization.
• Design AWS architectures using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Control Tower.
• Maintain customer runbooks and automate tasks with Systems Manager and CloudWatch.
• Provide off-hours on-call support and contribute to internal R&D.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, implement, support, and provide recommendations for AWS cloud solutions and hybrid on-premises environments


• Design, deploy, and manage AWS network infrastructure using VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Route 53


• Architect and deploy AWS infrastructure for hosting applications using EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and EFS


• Ensure compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices using IAM, GuardDuty, and Security Hub


• Implement and test system recovery strategies for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity


• Collaborate with AWS Technical Account Managers and customers to provide cloud strategy and cost optimization


• Design AWS cloud architectures using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Control Tower


• Maintain customer runbooks and automate tasks with AWS Systems Manager and CloudWatch


• Provide off-hours support on a rotational basis, including on-call responsibilities


• Contribute to internal R&D projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant program, or 3+ years of AWS Cloud experience


• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certificate or the ability to obtain it within 12 months


• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills across a diverse technology landscape


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills


• Ability to manage multiple client environments simultaneously and handle time and billing entry
