Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation seeks an experienced AWS-focused engineer to design end-to-end cloud solutions and lead deployment automation using Terraform and Ansible. The role emphasizes reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across infrastructure domains.

The candidate will work on a broad set of AWS services, participate in governance, and contribute to architecture strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• AWS Solution Architect experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design End-to-End solutions using AWS services (RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Data Firehose).
• Develop templates, Terraform modules, and Ansible playbooks for deployment.
• Improve reliability and efficiency of service implementation and foster innovation.
• Contribute to technology strategy for end-to-end engineering solutions.
• Participate in steering committees for technical and infrastructure domains.
• Evaluate reference models, blueprints and playbooks for fitness; resolve blockers.

• This job is responsible for leading the most complex technical designs that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies.
• Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of the most complex technical solutions by developing templates, Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks and automation used during implementation.
• Job expectations include consistently looking for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency of implementing the services, and influencing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Candidate is responsible for designing End to End solutions using AWS services RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, SQS, SNS, EventBridge and Data Firehose.
• Experience with Terraform is highly recommended.
• Experience with all other shared AWS services like Key Management Service, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, S3, Artifact, Secrets Manager.
• Serves as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes
• Develops software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes and contributes to the technology strategy for end-to-end engineering solutions and provides feedback to the architecture teams
• Participates in various steering committees for technical and infrastructure service domains
• Leads the evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
• Experience with Ansible playbook is plus

Required Qualifications

• AWS Solution architect experience is required.
• AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, SQS, SNS, EventBridge and Data Firehose, DynamoDB, ElastiCache,
• Experience working with OPA policies
• Primary Skills: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, CI/CD
• Experience with Python, Unix Shell Scripting

Desired Qualifications

• Key Management Service, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, S3, Artifact, Secrets Manager
• AWS security, identity and Compliance services
• Experience with other AWS Analytics services like Kinesis, MSK is a plus.
• AWS Solution Architect and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is great plus.
