Job summary

Sum Theory, Inc. seeks a Cloud Engineer II to design, implement, and support enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

You will work across compute, storage, networking, identity integration, security, automation, and platform services, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services. The role involves collaboration with architecture, security, systems, network, and application teams, with opportunities to drive modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Systems Engineering, or related field; or an Associate degree with four years of relevant cloud engineering experience.
Four to six years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure with cloud platforms, virtualization, automation, and related technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud, infrastructure-as-code, cloud security, and workload deployments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Execution Excellence: Provide operational engineering support for enterprise cloud environments, configure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure services.
Planning and Solutioning: Design, test, and implement cloud solutions; support migrations and automation; recommend improvements for scalability and security.
