Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and manage cloud systems, including IaaS and PaaS, with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability. You will work across stakeholders to evaluate cloud solutions and ensure service levels.

You will implement automation, monitoring, and alerting tools, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud products. This role reports to the Manager, Systems Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent of 5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain hybrid multi-cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS) with focus on performance, security, scalability, and continuity.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain monitoring, orchestration, automation, and configuration management tools in alignment with DevSecOps strategy.
• Provide day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations, monitor metrics/logs, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot systems.
• Document infrastructure design, procedures, and best practices; mentor others on cloud technologies and governance.
