Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking an IT Cloud Engineer II to support and manage the organization’s cloud platform. You will handle day-to-day operations, assist with design implementation, and automate tasks to ensure reliability and security across environments.

You will work with Google Cloud and/or Microsoft Azure, using Terraform and other IaC tools, plus scripting for automation and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration and strong communication are essential in this healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent (4 years) or related experience.
• 3+ years in IT with cloud or virtualized environments; more with no degree.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Foundational knowledge of IaaS, PaaS concepts and networking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Hackensack Meridian Health cloud platform daily.
• Implement designs, troubleshoot issues, and automate tasks.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and security of cloud infra.
• Collaborate with teams and follow CI/CD and change control processes.
