Job summary

Stanley Reid & Company is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our client’s team, supporting large, mission‑critical, user‑facing applications in an AWS environment. This 100% onsite role is located in Chantilly, VA and requires TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance.

You will design and sustain cloud infrastructure, containerized services, and code‑driven deployments using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Experience building AWS infrastructure and sustaining applications.
• Proficiency with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficient in Java/Python/JavaScript in Linux environments.
• Experience with relational/document databases and Git workflows.
• Clearance TS/SCI with FS Poly is REQUIRED.

In this role, you will work day‑to‑day in an AWS environment to build, monitor and sustain applications and services.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS experience building infrastructure, sustaining applications, etc.
• Writing cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) – Terraform
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, and Helm
• Familiar with delivering and debugging applications written in Java, Python, JavaScript in Linux environments
• Experience with relational databases – PostgreSQL, MySQL, or document databases – Elasticsearch, Solr
• Experience with Git and Git-based workflows

Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Poly REQUIRED for consideration.
