Job summary

TheHiveCareers is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure aligned with enterprise banking standards and governance. You will collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to support cloud solutions across public and hybrid platforms.

Role requires hands-on multi-cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and a strong focus on cost efficiency, performance, and reliability within regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and identity management concepts.
• Experience implementing security controls within cloud environments, preferably in financial services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in enterprise, regulated environments.
• Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure environments across public and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Implement and enforce cloud security, governance, and compliance controls in line with enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Monitor, optimize, and continuously improve cloud performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to support cloud-based solutions and migrations.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure system stability.
• Maintain documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.
