Renewable Energy Inc is seeking a mid-level Cloud Engineer to own outcomes, sharpen Elasticsearch, and grow with a tight-knit team in Minneapolis. The role focuses on EKS-backed deployments, IaC across environments, and documenting GitLab CI to speed onboarding.

You’ll containerize apps, trade EKS nuances with execs, and translate napkin ideas into Pulumi prototypes with the team. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in tech, experience with scaled workflows, and strong cross-functional

• 4+ years in a technology role.
• Experience with large-scale cloud workflows.
• Ability to estimate timelines accurately.
• Experience collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

• Reverse-engineer the tinker-friendly Amazon EKS format Renewable Energy Inc inherited and never documented.
• Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production.
• Document the GitLab CI system so the next mid-level engineer onboards in days, not weeks.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments with Amazon EKS and Consul.
• Explain EKS tradeoffs to executives in clear terms.
• Translate napkin ideas into Pulumi prototypes.
• Pair-program tricky Pulumi edge cases with engineers in Minneapolis, MN.
