Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to lead data protection and cryptography initiatives in a mission‑critical environment. The role focuses on encryption, tokenization, key management, and policy governance within enterprise cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver secure cloud solutions, mentor engineers, and drive security best practices across AWS and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Cryptography experience required; knowledge of data protection practices.
• 3+ years cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 2+ years cloud-native tech (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 2+ years Unix/Linux administration.
• 2+ years Protegrity data protection solutions.
• 2+ years Ansible Automation Platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead cryptography, distributed microservices, cloud platforms, and full‑stack systems.
• Partner with Cyber product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver secure, cloud‑based solutions.
• Assess security risks related to data confidentiality and integrity, identify vulnerabilities, and evaluate potential cyber threats.
• Design, implement, and support cryptographic solutions, including encryption, hashing, digital signatures, and secure key management.
• Help mature the enterprise cryptography governance framework, including policies, standards, guidelines, compliance, and auditability.
• Serve as the technical lead and subject‑matter expert for a 5x9 mission‑critical data protection environment.
• Support Protegrity Data Encryption and Tokenization solutions, including data protection policies and platform integrations.
• Develop and maintain Ansible automation for the lifecycle management of Protegrity Agent software across a large Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Use Terraform Enterprise to support AWS serverless deployments and integrations with Protegrity Cloud Protector.
• Implement and support at‑rest encryption using Protegrity Fuse File Encryption technologies.
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Protegrity data protection policies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, mentor engineers, and contribute to coding or code reviews as needed.

Seeking a Cloud Engineer to support enterprise data protection, cryptography, and cloud security initiatives. This role will serve as a technical lead and subject‑matter expert within a mission‑critical environment focused on data encryption, tokenization, and protection policy management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in cryptography.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience with cloud‑native technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• At least 2 years of Unix or Linux systems administration experience.
• At least 2 years of SELinux experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Protegrity data protection solutions.
• At least 2 years of DevOps experience using Ansible Automation Platform.
• At least 2 years of experience using Terraform Enterprise.
• 2+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 3+ years of coding or scripting experience using Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby.
• 4+ years of experience with the Protegrity Data Protection platform.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux file system technologies, such as FUSE, GPFS, or NFS.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux storage subsystems, clustering, high availability, fault tolerance, and replication.
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps principles and Agile development practices.

Estimated Min Rate: $47.25

Estimated Max Rate: $69.84
