Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and deliver scalable cloud solutions within the NMHC IT environment. You will focus on Terraform IaC, Azure-based infrastructure, and end-to-end deployment automation in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring capacity, ensuring secure and compliant operations, and collaborating with application teams to streamline cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cloud engineering or similar
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform/Azure)
• Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate and deliver cloud solutions
• Automate deployments and integrate into NMHC IT environment
• Monitor capacity and availability to meet user needs
• Provide technical leadership and support for cloud operations
• Develop dashboards and reports for cloud environments
