Job summary

AMH is seeking a Cloud Engineer to implement and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability and scalability. The role collaborates with IT to develop cloud-based solutions, automate deployment, and migrate applications using infrastructure as code.

The candidate will create architecture diagrams, develop automation scripts, and enforce cloud security policies while documenting the environment and maintaining procedures for new services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in Cloud Engineering or related field.
• Experience documenting infrastructure and setting standards and procedures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI) and cloud migration.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting Line-of-Business applications and managing incidents.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services; deploy and migrate applications to cloud environments.
• Respond to operational issues and monitoring alerts to resolve incidents.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures to protect data and apps.
• Document architecture and create standard operating procedures for new services.
