Job summary

DSA Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, operate, and transition secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across hosting, storage, networking, access, and monitoring. The role emphasizes automation, security, and cross-team collaboration within a DoD-cloud-ready environment.

Required expertise includes 5+ years in cloud engineering with Kubernetes, AWS/multi-cloud, and strong security posture. Active Secret clearance is required; DoD/cloud-computing experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, platform operations, or enterprise hosting.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar and CompTIA Security+.

Responsibilities

• Configure, automate, sustain, and monitor ACWS cloud environments.
• Support deployment readiness, security hardening, capacity, patching, backup/recovery, and restoration.
• Maintain configuration and operating documentation.
• Coordinate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, administrators, application teams, and hosting providers.

Cloud Engineer

Responsible for architecting, operating, and transitioning secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, including hosting, storage, networking, access, and monitoring.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 5+ Years supporting cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, platform operations, or enterprise hosting.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar and Comp Tia Security+
• Experience architecting and securing multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GovCloud), specializing in containerized orchestration (Kubernetes) and core infrastructure management across networking, storage, monitoring, and database workloads (including Appian, Java, and API integrations)
• Active Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with DoD IL5/IL6, cArmy, PIEE, RMF/ATO, or federal cloud environments.
• Experience supporting Appian, Java, API, or database workloads in cloud-hosted environments.

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$160,000 - $170,000 USD
