Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud solutions. The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on AWS experience, with strong skills in Terraform, Ansible, Python, and CI/CD pipelines, plus policy-as-code with OPA.

Candidate will work across services like RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and messaging/event services, ensuring security and governance. Excellent communication and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering and solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience developing Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management.
• Strong Python programming and Unix/Linux shell scripting skills.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Kinesis Data Firehose.
• Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and policy-as-code implementation.
• Strong understanding of AWS security, identity management, governance, and compliance.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.
