Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Software Developer to join the Platform Mission Applications Team. The role focuses on deploying Mission Partner Applications with Kubernetes and related tooling, building automation pipelines, and delivering CI/CD for secure environments.

You will onboard partners with manifests, bootstrap integration, and provide Tier 3 support while advancing infrastructure-as-code and deployment strategies in a security-conscious setting.

Qualifications

• IAT or IAM Level II DoD 8570 certification required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ability to access secure facilities with SIPR & JWICS.
• 5+ years of experience in application deployment and release management.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).

Freedom Technology Solutions Group – Software Developer

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Platform Mission Applications Team. The team is responsible for integrating, deploying, and ensuring Continuous Delivery (CD) of Mission Partner Applications across all fabrics using tools such as Istio, Kiali, K9s, Grafana, Keycloak, GitLab, Kustomize, Helm, and ArgoCD. We develop deployment and integration manifests to create the necessary Kubernetes objects, resources, policies, and components to deploy Mission Partners applications into our ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

As a member of the Platform Mission Applications team you will:

• Integrate and deploy Mission Partner Applications using Kubernetes and related tooling.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code for deployment.
• Support mission partner onboarding, including mission manifests and bootstrap integration.
• Provide Tier 3 support, maintaining SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and infrastructure components such as mTLS gateways and service mesh configurations.
