Job summary

Cloud Engineer, Senior

Manages, administers, supports and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Applies advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.

You Have

• Experience in managing and administering secure cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid
• Experience with supporting complex enterprise systems and resolving technical issues rapidly
• Experience with implementing automation, IaC, and orchestration using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Experience in cloud operations, including monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of zero‑trust principles, cybersecurity best practices, and secure configuration standards
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• ​Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
