This position will report directly to the IT Help Desk Supervisor.Requirements:Successfully prioritize service issues based on multiple competing objectives while multitaskingEffectively communicate with team members & customers with excellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with Strong customer relationship skillsWillingness and commitment to ongoing learning and self-developmentAdvanced knowledge of networking troubleshooting, including ISP Equipment, Firewalls, Switches and ServersExcellent knowledge of PCs, Servers, MFPs, Email, VLANS, Wired and Wireless Networking, Storage and BackupsStrong experience with Multiple OS, Virtual Servers, Backup Restoration, Network Troubleshooting, Server ConfigurationExcellent experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network and server infrastructures.Maintain high CSAT score and exceed customer expectations for SLAs (Service Level Agreement)Minimum of 5 years previous technical support related experienceGood driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurancePrimary Responsibilities:Serve as third-level support for all users with the most complex problems, especially related to servers and networks.Configure, install and Troubleshoot Servers, Networks & ApplicationsUse advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex problems using available toolsMonitor and respond to alerts for customer equipment prior to customer becoming awareCourteously obtain and convey concise problem information for internal service personnelSolve problems in Windows & Mac platforms with equal proficiencyProactively maintain servers and networksMaintain in-depth knowledge of Standley Systems supported products and servicesAssist with Identifying available solutions to enhance and improve support delivered to customersReview and update Help Desk documentation as assignedRecommendations:MCPs, MCSA, CCENT & VCA strongly recommendedMCSE, CCNA & VCP preferred5+ years’ experience in IT supportPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
