Job summary

DPP Tech is hiring a Sr Cloud Engineer for a government client in Livermore, CA. This hybrid/onsite role requires 3-4 days per week on client site with potential contract-to-hire.

You will lead cloud platform administration across AWS, Azure, and GCP, implement AI/ML cloud services, ensure secure provisioning, IAM, and monitoring, and collaborate with customers and teams to deliver compliant solutions. Qualifications

• Significant experience in cloud platform administration and support.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud AI/ML platforms and services (AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure AI, Vertex AI).
• Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure operations, including provisioning, automation, and infrastructure management tools.
• Advanced understanding of cloud support systems (virtual networking, IAM, SCPs, monitoring).
• Experience documenting and deploying cloud services securely per best practices and NIST guidance.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting cloud resources, including performance monitoring and incident response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently and with customers and teams.

We are hiring a Sr Cloud Engineer for our Government client in Livermore, CA. Hybrid/onsite 3-4 days per week. Contract opportunity, with possible Contract to hire.

• Significant experience in cloud platform administration and support, with experience in technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud AI/ML platforms and services, such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure AI services, Google Vertex AI, or vector databases.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure operations, including resource provisioning, automation, and the use of infrastructure management tools.
• Advanced understanding of cloud support systems, such as virtual networking, identity and access management, Service control polices and monitoring solutions.
• Significant experience documenting and deploying cloud services in a secure manner, adhering to industry best practices and NIST guidance to ensure compliance and adherence with an organization's cyber security policies.
• Significant experience managing and troubleshooting cloud-based resources and services, including performance monitoring and incident response.
• Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with customers and team members and present and explain technical information and provide advice to management.
