Job summary

M1 Technology, LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Bethesda, Maryland team, with a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph requirement. The role focuses on constructing and administering both unclassified and classified cloud environments, defining requirements, and delivering the underlying cloud platform.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in CS or a technical field, 5+ years AWS experience, and Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

Qualifications

• Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II).
• 5+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud engineering.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructing and administering unclassified and classified commercial cloud environments.
• Defining of cloud requirements; developing architecture diagrams to support an approved Authority to Develop (ATD) determination
• Rolling out, delivering, and setting up the underlying cloud environment
• Developing the final system design to support an approved Authority to Operate (ATO) determination

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a technical field
• Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• 5 or more years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters' degree or PhD in degree in computer science or a related technical field
• 4 or more years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team
• 1 or more year of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager
