Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer in a hybrid Atlanta role. You will design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, optimize performance, and drive automation for deployment, scaling, and testing.

Qualifications

• Certifications in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are required or strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux/Unix, scripting languages, and Infrastructure as Code is expected.
• Experience with enterprise IAM solutions, monitoring tools, DNS, and security best practices is required.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure. Set up monitoring and alerting systems to detect issues, respond to incidents, and reduce downtime. Analyze system performance and implement improvements for high availability, low latency, and efficiency. Develop automation tools for deployment, scaling, and testing to increase reliability and minimize errors. Forecast resource needs and plan for future growth to handle increased demand. Collaborate with development and IT teams to resolve issues and implement preventative fixes. Create and update documentation on system architecture, processes, and incident management.

Critical Information

Hybrid work schedule; hours from 8-5. Travel up to 10%; travel required.

Environment

Includes cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise IAM solutions, scripting, network protocols, load balancing, security principles, and monitoring tools. Compliance and submission guidelines applicable.

Education / Licenses Needed

Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer). Proficiency with Windows, Linux/Unix, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, JSON); strong network, DNS, load balancing, security skills; experience with enterprise IAM solutions and monitoring tools. Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and change management skills. Ability to interpret business needs and translate into operational requirements.
