Job summary

Tesco Mobile is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our squad and strengthen cloud platforms across AWS, Azure and private clouds. You will lead secure, reliable, scalable delivery and drive IaC adoption.

You will automate, review proposals, mentor colleagues and collaborate with cyber security, software engineers and product teams. A blended on-site and remote pattern supports flexible work while maintaining strong partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience securing cloud platforms across AWS, Azure and private clouds.
• Automation and IaC (Terraform, CI/CD) experience.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and collaborate across teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and agile delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within the DevSecOps squad.
• Maintain cloud platforms with high reliability, security and recoverability.
• Influence system design and review proposals.
• Drive improvements in DevSecOps tooling and processes.
• Collaborate with cyber security and other stakeholders to implement security enhancements.
• Champion automation, IaC, observability and engineering excellence.
• Promote self-service capabilities and automation solutions across teams.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Mentor colleagues and support their growth.
• Support and administer cloud platforms and developer tooling (GitHub, Splunk).
