Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to collaborate with Development and IT teams to build secure, scalable cloud environments on AWS and Azure. You will implement IaC with Terraform, automate CI/CD pipelines, and integrate security controls across deployments.

The role requires hands-on experience with cloud platforms, security-centric CI/CD, and container orchestration. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential for ensuring compliant, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• AWS and/or Azure certifications preferred (DevOps/SA Engineer, Azure certifications, Terraform Associate).
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services and Azure infrastructure, security, and monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS).

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
• Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, and load balancers.
• Support Azure services including VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Entra ID, App Services, Monitoring.
• Implement cloud security controls: IAM/RBAC, encryption, least privilege, secrets management.
• Automate tasks using Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS CLI, and Azure CLI.
• Maintain deployment procedures, runbooks, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment automation, reliability, and security.
