Job summary

Greenheck Group in Maine is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, manage environment promotion, and ensure security across the development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with developers and security teams to implement IaC, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and integrate ERP/messaging interfaces while upholding deployment standards and incident response.

Qualifications

4–6 years of hands-on DevOps or release engineering experience in a production environment.
Proven expertise with Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, releases, env mgmt, test plans).
Experience managing environment promotion workflows with gates and rollback.
Scripting skills in C#, PowerShell or Python for deployment automation.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
Familiarity with ERP/MES/SCADA integrations and related platforms.
Experience with Terraform/Ansible or ARM templates for IaC; Docker/Kubernetes.
OpenShift experience and container orchestration knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate packaging, validation, and deployment while embedding security.
Own and operate the environment promotion workflow (Dev → Test → Production) with gates and release controls.
Develop and maintain automated tests and validations for deployments including SAP, Kafka, Ignition/SQL interfaces.
Collaborate on branching strategies, PR workflows, and multi-stream build coordination.
Manage infrastructure-as-code and configuration management across Dev, Test, Production for parity and reproducibility.
Define deployment standards with Architecture, cutover runbooks, and rollback procedures for go-lives.
Support post-deployment monitoring and incident response for enterprise platforms and drift detection.
Maintain deployment docs, release notes, and ADO pipeline definitions per Way of Working.
Contribute to DevOps maturity by reducing manual effort and shortening lead times.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security to design secure Azure cloud infrastructure.
Utilize Wiz to monitor and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud, containers, and apps.
Integrate security scans, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into CI/CD.
Ensure infrastructure, apps, and data comply with GDPR, SOC 2, and security best practices.
Implement cloud security controls including access management and data protection.
Perform regular security audits, threat assessments, and proactive incident response.
