Job summary

Greenheck Group seeks an experienced DevOps engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, manage Dev→Test→Prod promotions, and ensure security is integrated throughout deployments. You will build automated tests, enforce best practices, and collaborate across teams to optimize releases.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of hands-on DevOps or release engineering with CI/CD in production.
• Strong Azure DevOps expertise including YAML pipelines and releases.
• Experience managing environment promotion workflows with gates and rollbacks.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python, or C# for deployment automation.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES/SCADA deployments is a plus.
• OpenShift or Red Hat experience preferred.
• IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate packaging, validation, and deployment.
• Own and operate the environment promotion workflow (Dev → Test → Production) with gates.
• Develop automated test and validation frameworks for source code packages.
• Collaborate on branching strategies, PR workflows, and multi-stream builds.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and configuration management across environments.
• Define deployment standards, cutover runbooks, and rollback procedures.
• Support post-deployment monitoring and incident response for pipelines.
• Maintain deployment documentation, release notes, and pipeline definitions.
• Contribute to DevOps maturity and reduce manual effort and lead times.
• Collaborate to deploy secure cloud infrastructure on Azure and monitor for vulnerabilities.
