Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Economic Development (EOED) is seeking a Director of IT, Cloud and Developer Operations to lead strategic and hands-on technology initiatives across the agency. The role focuses on scalable cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and secure enterprise services to accelerate delivery while meeting Commonwealth standards.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern delivery practices.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure) and enterprise applications like Salesforce.
Strong governance, project management, and vendor management capabilities.
Ability to lead technical teams and develop strategic technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for EOED's cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and enterprise applications.
Develop and execute EOED's IT Strategic Plan with governance practices and roadmaps.
Oversee IT operations, security, and delivery of major technology initiatives.
Lead technical teams, manage partnerships, and enable cross‑functional collaboration.
Advance modern delivery practices and resilient infrastructure across EOED.
