Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Texas to join a mission-focused Cloud/Software Engineering team supporting the United States Air Force. You will work with cloud platforms, containerized services, and automation pipelines to accelerate delivery and ensure reliability.

Responsibilities include collaborating with development teams to onboard them to the client’s platform, optimizing CI/CD workflows, and applying security-conscious practices across the cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker or Kubernetes).
• Experience with scripting for automation (Python, bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub or GitLab).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation).
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize cloud platforms and automate infrastructure.
• Support mission-focused teams deploying and maintaining cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate with software teams to develop onboarding paths to the client’s platform.
• Design and develop automation pipelines using CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
• Analyze web application errors via logs and diagnostics to improve reliability.
