Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to partner with the United States Air Force, operating and optimizing cloud platforms and automating infrastructure. You will work with software teams to understand architectures, develop onboarding paths to the client platform, and help scale cloud-native solutions in a fast-paced government program.

You will leverage Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python for automation, while pursuing key certifications and clearance requirements to advance

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker or Kubernetes).
• Experience scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Willingness to obtain AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar certifications within 60 days.
• Willingness to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize cloud platforms and automate infrastructure.
• Support mission-focused teams deploying cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture and tooling; develop onboarding paths to the client platform.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for rapid delivery.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to analyze app behavior via logs and telemetry.
