Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking a Development Operations (DevOps) Specialist to implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based web and mobile applications, with emphasis on scalability, security, and efficient delivery. The role sits in the Office of Technology in Arlington, VA, collaborating across departments to deploy modern architectures and maintain legacy apps.

You will work with AWS, EKS, Terraform, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD to streamline development, test, and production

Formación

• Two years of CI/CD experience for mobile and web app development.
• Portfolio of projects showing technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and EKS; AWS services including IAM, WAF/Shield, VPC, CloudWatch, and RDS.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern app development practices.
• Experience maintaining automated build systems (Jenkins) and GitLab SCM.

Responsabilidades

• Develop CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based web and mobile apps at enterprise scale.
• Deploy and monitor software; support RESTful APIs, microservices, and web services.
• Support the Agile SDLC from design to deployment with quality and timeliness.
• Improve performance, security, and maintainability of applications.
• Align IT strategies with business objectives and communicate complex topics clearly.
• Prepare technical documents and presentations for governance committees.
