Job summary

Allspring Global Investments is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Solutions team in Milwaukee. The role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, enforcing uniform deployment practices, and integrating security tooling to ensure secure, efficient software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Release, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code principles (Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Understanding of cloud services and deployment strategies (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with security tooling and best practices for secure deployments.
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
• Soft skills: communication, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across teams.
• Enforce uniform deployment practices and standards.
• Optimize build and deployment processes for speed and reliability.
• Manage infrastructure as code for AWS deployments.
• Integrate security tooling and perform automated remediation.
• Collaborate with developers, security, and operations for seamless deployments.
• Implement monitoring/observability for build and deployment health.
