Job summary

Quest Global seeks a DevOps Security Engineer to design and implement secure, automated CI/CD pipelines on AWS in Cupertino, CA. You will integrate security at every stage, monitor systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high availability and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps methodologies, cloud platforms, and scripting.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud environment.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Solid cybersecurity principles, network security, and best practices.
• Programming/scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and automate build, testing, and deployment processes to create robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement security measures into every stage of the software development and deployment pipeline.
• Monitor, log, and alert to ensure high availability and quick troubleshooting of production issues.
• Automate security processes and checks for consistency and efficiency.
• Implement and manage security for cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Manage security tools for code scanning, penetration testing, and threat detection.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a secure development process.
