Job summary

Northstrat seeks an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP. You will implement IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, manage CI/CD pipelines, and work with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift in a Linux environment.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on cloud/DevOps experience, AWS CLI proficiency, and scripting skills (Bash/PowerShell/Python). Knowledge of security best practices and agile delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Cloud/DevOps experience with deployments and automation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Containerization/orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or EE.
• Scripting in Bash/PowerShell/Python.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML protocols.
• Understanding of OWASP/DevSecOps frameworks.
• Ability to work in an Agile sprint environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement cloud infrastructure.
• Administration of cloud infrastructure using Rancher and Elastic.
• Apply Agile sprint-based methodologies including program increment planning.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure deployments at the node and pod level.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of our tech stack.
