Job summary

Northstrat Incorporated is seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. The role focuses on building, deploying, and automating release pipelines for cloud applications across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with IaC using Terraform and Terragrunt.

You will work in an Agile environment, design scalable infrastructure, containerize with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in Cloud/DevOps roles.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI) and polygraph (CIP).
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and implement cloud infrastructure
• Administration of cloud infrastructure using Rancher and Elastic
• Apply Agile sprint‑based methodologies including programme increment planning
• Troubleshoot infrastructure deployments at the node and pod level
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of our tech stack
