Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Cleveland, OH for a 9-month engagement. The role involves managing Linux environments, implementing containerization with Docker/ECR/ECS/Fargate, and leveraging AWS services.

You will work with IaC (Terraform/Ansible) and support secure software development practices. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Git, Jira/Confluence, and agile DevOps workflows, plus strong documentation and independent research abilities.

Qualifications

Experience configuring Linux environments and commands.
Familiar with Git-based workflows and code repositories.
Experience with Jira/Confluence for project tracking.
Understanding of AWS cloud technologies and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Linux operating system environments and commands.
Experience with Git and GitLab.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
AWS cloud technologies and practices.
Security scanning technologies including SAST, DAST, and IAST.
Containerization technologies including Docker, ECR, ECS, and Fargate.
Terraform Infrastructure as Code and Ansible configuration as code technologies.
Provisioning hardware, OS, and infrastructure components.
System tools and administration methods, including access/password management, build frameworks and tools.
Secure programming techniques and basic understanding of cryptography and certificates.
Python and/or Go development languages.
Software library management tools.
Agile and DevOps practices.
Excellent documentation skills.
Ability to perform independent research.
