Job summary

Pierce is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure across AWS with Azure exposure. You will handle containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), implement monitoring and security, and partner with development teams to optimize architecture.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS experience with EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and Lambda; strong AWS networking and security knowledge.
• Demonstrated Azure fundamentals: VMs, Blob Storage, Azure AD, and VNet.
• IaC proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• CI/CD tooling experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS, with Azure as a secondary focus.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud architecture.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure.
