Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will build and improve CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform-based IaC, and optimize Kubernetes workloads (EKS) for reliability and security.

The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams, incident response, and automation to accelerate software delivery. Hybrid work model available across multiple U.S. locations, including Chicago.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, Load Balancers, and CloudWatch.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms.
• Implement and manage IaC using Terraform.
• Configure, administer, and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containers.
• Monitor health using CloudWatch and observability tools.
• Improve scalability, availability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
• Drive automation to improve efficiency and delivery speed.
• Collaborate with development teams on cloud-ready architectures and devops practices.
