Job summary

SWBC is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support automation for our public and private cloud deployments and configuration management across all environments. You will improve efficiency and scalability of software and infrastructure using modern tools and programming.

Responsibilities include building automation, CI/CD, and secure deployments in AWS and private clouds. The role collaborates with Cloud, information security, and business teams in an agile setting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field from an accredited college.
• Minimum of five years experience managing AWS resources and automating CI/CD pipelines.
• AWS Developer Associate and/or AWS SysOps Administrator Associate required.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification required.
• Experience with release engineering and source code management is a plus.
• Azure or Google Cloud experience is a plus.
• Experience automating zero-downtime deployments (Blue/Green, Canary).
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization tech.
• Strong Windows and Linux admin skills in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build automation tools to streamline and scale apps into production.
• Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and processes for software releases.
• Leverage scripting to build and enhance tooling for CI/CD and deployments.
• Create automated, scalable, repeatable processes.
• Investigate and implement enhancements to development and operations.
• Participate in release planning and ensure robust release processes.
• Deploy releases to DEV/QA/Prod via automation.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams in Agile settings.
• Document results and prepare status reports for management.
• Maintain end-to-end security with best practices.
