Job summary

BCforward is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer for a 12-month contract with hybrid work options at Jersey City, NJ and Charlotte, NC. Start ASAP with a 2–4 week lead time after offer and a requirement of at least 3 onsite days per week.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Automation.
Must have AWS and Azure proficiency.
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM Templates.
Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift experience.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM Templates.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Automate system administration and deployment tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions.
Integrate security scanning and compliance checks into the software delivery lifecycle.
