Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services in Austin is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to perform advanced cloud platform engineering, AI enablement, and secure DevOps automation for modernization efforts. Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, information technology, cloud engineering, artificial intelligence, data engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
Preferred experience with DevOps pipelines, platform automation, application modernization, or secure deployment patterns for cloud-native and AI-enabled workloads.

Responsibilities

Develops, maintains, and improves automated CI/CD and GitOps deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code templates and provisioning code.
Designs secure cloud-native platforms, container orchestration frameworks, and serverless services for web services, data products, and AI workloads.
Troubleshoots deployment pipelines, access policies, and AI workload hosting issues to ensure reliable, secure systems.
Collaborates with application, data, AI, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure modernization delivery aligns with compliance requirements.
