Job summary

LSEG's Real-Time Distribution Development team seeks an experienced Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to design and run cloud-based, low-latency data distribution systems. You will build infrastructure as code with Terraform and drive CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab/Jenkins, while integrating monitoring with Datadog, Grafana, and CloudWatch.

You will collaborate with security and QA teams to ensure robust, scalable software delivery and contribute to technical documentation and test plans.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
• Strong knowledge of Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Gitlab, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Within LSEG’s Data and Analytics division, the Real-Time Distribution Development team plays a vital role in supporting LSEG’s financial data distribution and fanout components.

We have responsibility for the design, implementation and continuous improvements of complex, low latency, high throughput software that makes the LSEG financial data distribution reliable, scalable and geographically resilient.

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab, Jenkins
• Set up and maintain monitoring dashboards and work with tools like Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch
• Chips in toward product and internal documentation – technical specifications, software documentation and unit test plans.
• Assists in resolution of field problems as needed while working alongside other teams.
• Collaborates with QA to deliver products of best quality.
• Follows security standard processes and works with security teams to address vulnerabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $95,700 - $159,700. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/ "bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
