Knonix in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to automate and secure mission-critical software pipelines in AWS and hybrid environments. You will implement IaC, containerization, and CI/CD across multiple GovCloud platforms while coordinating with an Agile team.

This role requires 10+ years in DevOps, TS/SCI clearance, and strong scripting with Python/Java/Bash, plus hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps/CI/CD environments.
• 8+ years scripting (Python/Java/Bash).
• 5+ years Linux administration (Red Hat/CentOS).
• 5+ years AWS experience (S3/SQS/EC2/IAM).
• Experience with automation tools: Puppet/Ansible/Jenkins/GitLab Pipelines.
• Strong independence and teamwork, pair programming when needed.
• Clearance TS/SCI and RMF familiarity are highly desirable.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Continuously evaluating the monitoring and performance of the environment.

# Cloud DevOps EngineerAnnapolis Junction, MDFull-TimeClearance: TS/SCI with PolygraphCloudKubernetesCloudAWSDescription / General DutiesLeverage AWS and CI/CD technologies to streamline and maintain a DevSecOps pipeline for mission critical-software applications. Since most of the work is conducted remotely (from home), this highly motivated engineering team uses Agile (Scrum) processes and online collaboration tools to coordinate activities. The objective is to fully automate the software processes that build, test, harden, package, and deploy applications across multiple cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S). The result is an enterprise-wide DevOps pipeline that delivers mission functionality to operational environments. This hybrid, highly motivated engineering team uses Agile (Scrum) processes and online collaboration tools to coordinate activities. Work will include researching new technologies, implementing new solutions, and providing recommendations to reduce program risk / cost.
