The Intect is seeking a Cloud DevOps Architect with hands-on experience in Windows on AWS migrations. This role involves designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform, while working in a complex environment.

Applicants must have strong expertise in AWS Core Services and security controls. You will be responsible for provisioning, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability for cloud-based Windows systems.

Cloud DevOps Architect (Hands-on with Windows on AWS Migration) - W2 Only

Contract

Duration: 6 Months+ extension

Location: Remote

Placement: Asset Management / Equity Quant Research

Must have’s:

• Hands‑on DevOps Architect with extensive experience across complex environments.
• Strong hands‑on IaC and DevOps design, implementation/deployment experience with CloudFormation/Terraform, Python, Jenkins.
• Migration of Windows‑based platform to AWS – troubleshooting, performance tuning, and rehydrating Windows on the cloud.
• AWS Core Services:
• Core Networking / VPC, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing.
• AWS Security Controls, guardrails development and IAM policies.
• Develop CloudFormation templates with Windows.
• Provide recommendations and advice on performance tuning and best practices for Windows to EC2.
• Provide recommendations and advice on resiliency, monitoring dashboards, and overall reliability and availability of the platform.
• Review problem areas, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for remediation and/or solutions.
• Work in conjunction with AWS Solutions Architects and services experts for research.
• Apply DevOps skills in creating and modifying code pipelines and operating procedures.
