Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Migration / DevOps Lead (Azure-focused) to support large‑scale application migrations from on‑premises environments to public cloud platforms.

This role serves as a key technical liaison across application, cloud, and infrastructure teams, ensuring successful cloud adoption through hands‑on engineering, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support application migrations from on‑premises environments to Azure and AWS.
• Act as the technical liaison between application teams, cloud partners, and infrastructure teams.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑based applications.
• Provide hands‑on support across infrastructure, application code, and DevOps pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to pipelines, certificates, secrets management, and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and troubleshoot application performance and behavior differences between on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Guide teams on cloud frameworks, patterns, and best practices.
• Navigate cloud adoption within a regulated environment, ensuring adherence to governance and security requirements.
• Serve as an escalation point to resolve technical, process, and cross‑team challenges.
• Drive issues to resolution across multiple stakeholders and project components.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience building, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications or platforms.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud‑native application delivery.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services, with working knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, or similar.
• Knowledge of infrastructure components including networking, storage, identity, and secrets management.
• Experience with application stacks such as .NET, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, or React.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server; familiarity with Cassandra is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including security, scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under time constraints.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience supporting cloud migrations in regulated environments.
• Experience in financial services or similar domains.
• Experience supporting large‑scale, distributed application migrations to the cloud.
