Job summary

Deloitte Global seeks a Cloud Defense Security Engineer to design, build, and directly manage the cloud security telemetry, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure that underpins Deloitte's global cloud platform.

You will work across AWS, Azure, and GCP, collaborating with teams to unify threat visibility and experiment with AI‑driven approaches to detection and response in a fast‑moving, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in software/cloud/data engineering.
• Hands-on multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) including logging/alerting.
• Programming and IaC experience (Python, Terraform).
• Some experience with data modeling and communicating with stakeholders outside your team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to unified cloud threat visibility across AWS/Azure/GCP.
