Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 to join the Financial Services unit in the USA. You will collaborate across client and internal teams to resolve incidents, evaluate IT infrastructure, and design scalable solutions for banking, wealth management, and insurance domains.

The role emphasizes deployment management, performance optimization, security, and cross-functional collaboration with onsite/offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; will consider 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve incidents, perform root cause analyses, and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare actionable assessment reports, and support due diligence documentation.
• Design scalable and cost-effective infrastructure solutions, review reusable components, and develop deployment documentation.
• Align release schedules and environment readiness; execute deployments per protocols and perform post-deployment testing.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades with minimal disruption to existing systems.
• Analyze performance data, coordinate insights on system behavior, and support capacity planning to optimize performance.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills, and audits; implement security measures and continuity plans.
• Gather feedback to identify automation opportunities and propose infrastructure process improvements.
• Act as liaison with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements.
• Develop a centralized knowledge repository leveraging lessons from other projects.
