Qualifications

• 5+ years of Cloud Database Engineer or Database Platform Engineer experience.
• AWS Cloud Engineering and Platform Operations.
• PostgreSQL Database Administration and Engineering.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• CI/CD and DevOps Automation (Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog, Ansible).
• Linux/Unix Administration.
• Python and Shell Scripting.
• Production Support and Operational Excellence.
• Kubernetes / OpenShift Platform Experience.
• Distributed Database Technologies (Cockroach DB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) - Preferrable with either Cockroach or Cassandra.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, automate, and support highly available database platforms across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Drive operational excellence, cloud modernization, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate within a global engineering team; handle planned maintenance and production issues.
• Participate in weekend on-call as needed.
