Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks an experienced Cloud Database Administrator (CDA) to support a mission-critical initiative in Sarasota, FL, with possible locations in Denver, CO or Sterling, VA.

You will design, secure, and optimize cloud databases across AWS, Azure, Oracle, and SQL Server in an Agile environment, delivering scalable solutions.

Collaborating with customers, analysts, developers, testers, and end users, you’ll ensure performance, security, and compliance while driving modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• Security+ certification.
• 5+ years of DBA experience.
• Expert with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain database systems across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Optimize performance, architecture, scalability, and capacity for cloud operations.
• Implement and maintain database security measures and encryption.
• Monitor health, performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot issues.
• Design and maintain high-availability, backup, recovery, and DR solutions.
• Support migrations, upgrades, and modernization activities.
• Apply DevOps practices to improve deployment, monitoring, and efficiency.
