Job summary

Komodo Health, a leader in healthcare data, seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to keep our cloud and data platform reliable, secure, and cost-efficient. You’ll own Snowflake and AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform, and optimize pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while upholding governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Snowflake/production data-warehouse experience (SQL, ops, tuning).
• Hands-on AWS production infrastructure with emphasis on security and cost.
• Terraform IaC proficiency.
• Kubernetes and Docker experience in production.
• Scripting in Python/Go/Bash; familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and safe usage guidelines.
• Strong collaboration and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake warehouses, monitor costs, and optimize queries.
• Build/operate AWS and Kubernetes infra as code (Terraform).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for delivery.
• Drive infrastructure performance, scalability, and FinOps cost controls.
• Harden cloud infra with IAM, RBAC, networking and secrets management.
• Develop centralized observability (metrics, logs, alerts).
• Participate in US business-hour on-call rotation with cross-team collaboration.
