Job summary

Macquarie is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to build, run and enhance the AWS-based data platform that ingests, processes and analyzes data for internal teams. You will deploy new tools, improve CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes, Airflow, ArgoCD, Helm and Terraform, and provide secure, reliable self-service capabilities for data workloads.

Qualifications

Hands-on background in AWS cloud, DevOps, platform engineering or data platform engineering.
Strong working knowledge of AWS services and concepts such as IAM, S3, Glue, RDS, CloudFormation and secure cloud operations.
Practical skills across Docker and Kubernetes, including tools such as ArgoCD and Helm.
Familiarity with Airflow or similar data orchestration tools, as well as CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, GitHub Actions or Argo Workflows.

Responsibilities

Build, run and improve the AWS-based data platform enabling ingestion, ETL, orchestration and analytics workloads.
Deploy new tools, improve platform standards, automate operational processes and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
Support internal users through a shared service model, helping teams use the platform securely, reliably and at scale.
